Activity
The portfolio was up +12.71% and the SPX was up +3.58%.
In the SPX broken wing butterfly strategy, the March position was adjusted and expired. The April position has been closed early and a May position has been opened. All in all, the strategy added 266 bps to the portfolio.
The SPY strategy did really well this month. After a couple of dismal months in the market, I decided to add a bit more delta to the portfolio similar to what I was doing when I first started the portfolio at the end of 2019. I closed out the April position and opened the June position. For the month, the strategy added 993 bps to the portfolio.
The good luck position in Berkshire Hathaway added 11 bps. Buffett and Munger were on fire this month!
Cash was flat.
